Junior Architect (UAE National)

About the role

This full-time junior architect position in Abu Dhabi supports the development and delivery of high-quality architectural designs in line with client requirements, project objectives and industry standards. The role assists senior architects in preparing drawings, design documents and project submissions, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with building codes, safety regulations and company standards. It also involves coordinating with engineers, contractors and other stakeholders, and contributing to project documentation and proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and understanding client requirements, preferences and project needs.
• Support senior architects in presenting design concepts, drawings and revisions to clients and incorporating feedback.
• Research and recommend suitable materials, sustainable solutions and environmentally responsible design approaches.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors and other stakeholders to support accurate implementation of designs during construction.
• Review design changes and update drawings and documents based on approved modifications.
• Ensure design work complies with building codes, safety regulations, accessibility standards and company requirements.
• Maintain and update project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports and other design documents.
• Assist in preparing bids, tenders, proposals, presentations and other project submissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• 0 to 3 years of experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp.
• Familiarity with construction methods, materials and building codes.
