Junior Data Scientist – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a curious and motivated Junior Data Scientist to join a fully remote team supporting a fast‑growing e‑commerce and retail technology company in the Middle East. This position is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career professionals who want hands‑on experience turning data into actionable business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer, sales, and marketing data to uncover trends and growth opportunities.
• Assist in building and evaluating predictive and machine‑learning models.
• Prepare, clean, and validate datasets for analysis.
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate findings.
• Support experimentation and A/B testing initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on data‑driven projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Understanding of statistics and machine‑learning fundamentals.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Personal, academic, or bootcamp data‑science projects.
