Junior Electrical Engineer (Electromechanical)

About the role

A leading electromechanical company, which designs, develops and manufactures products for the interior fit-out and MEP industry, is looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer in Dubai. The role supports senior engineers in designing electrical systems and components, testing them and keeping documentation compliant with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design support: assist senior engineers in designing electrical systems and components, create schematic diagrams, PCB layouts and wiring diagrams in CAD software, and take part in design reviews
• Testing and validation: help set up test environments, run tests, collect and analyse data, document results and troubleshoot issues with senior engineers
• Documentation and compliance: prepare specifications, test reports and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with CE, UL and FCC standards
• Collaboration: work with mechanical engineers, software engineers and technicians to integrate electrical systems with other components
• Learning: develop technical skills through on-the-job training, mentorship and self-study, and stay up to date with industry trends

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic engineering environment

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with CAD software for electrical design
• Basic understanding of electrical principles, circuit design and PCB layout
