Junior Front-End Developer

About the role

PulseMediaNL is looking for a motivated Junior Front-End Developer to join its remote team serving healthcare, medical and wellness brands. You will work on real‑world projects, turning UI/UX designs into responsive web experiences while sharpening your technical skills in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, user‑friendly websites and interfaces for healthcare clients.
• Convert UI/UX designs into clean, scalable front‑end code.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers and project managers to deliver seamless digital experiences.
• Support SEO, CRO and performance initiatives through front‑end implementation.
• Optimize sites for speed, cross‑browser compatibility and accessibility.
• Maintain WordPress‑based sites, updating content, layouts and templates.
• Identify and fix front‑end bugs, ensuring reliability across devices.
• Stay up‑to‑date with modern front‑end technologies and participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of front‑end development experience (including internships, freelance or personal projects).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating engaging user experiences.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Responsive and mobile‑first development principles.
• Basic knowledge of React or Vue (a plus).
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Use of design collaboration tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
• Understanding of SEO‑friendly front‑end practices and performance optimization.
