Junior Graphic Designer

About the role

A contract Junior Graphic Designer is sought for the Creative & Branding Department, reporting directly to the Creative/Branding Manager. The role focuses on PowerPoint presentations and social media posts, with support for other graphic design and branding work. It is a 12-month contract, renewable, based in Abu Dhabi, and open to candidates eligible to work in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and format professional PowerPoint presentations for corporate communications, internal meetings and management updates.
• Create social media posts and digital content in line with brand guidelines.
• Support digital ads, brochures, newsletters, event materials, banners and other marketing collateral.
• Turn creative briefs into visual designs while keeping brand consistency.
• Adapt existing designs and templates to different platforms, formats and audiences.
• Organise design files and prepare artwork for digital and print delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders and meet agreed timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia or a related field.
• Approximately 1-3 years of graphic design experience, preferably in a corporate, creative, marketing or branding environment.
• Portfolio showing graphic design work, PowerPoint presentations and social media creatives is highly desirable.
• Immediate availability or within 30 days of accepting the offer.

Required skills

• Good proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Photoshop and Illustrator; InDesign knowledge is an advantage.
• Understanding of typography, layout, composition, colour theory and visual storytelling.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines and strong attention to detail.
