Junior QA/QC Engineer – Reality Capture

About the role

Robotic Imaging FZCO in Dubai seeks a detail‑oriented Junior QA/QC Engineer to review virtual tours, point‑cloud data and site photos of US retail stores. You will verify measurements, identify assets and ensure accurate reports are delivered to US clients on time.

Key responsibilities

• Review 360° virtual tours (e.g., Matterport) and point‑cloud data of US retail sites.
• Verify dimensions and measurements against capture data and client requirements.
• Identify and record site assets such as fixtures, equipment, signage and MEP items from photos and tours.
• Prepare and update site and asset reports using client templates and standards.
• QA/QC check reports and deliverables from production teams before they are sent to US clients.
• Flag gaps, discrepancies or missing data and coordinate follow‑up with field and production teams.
• Maintain project trackers, files and records in an organised, up‑to‑date manner.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience; entry‑level candidates are welcome.
• Ability to read architectural and MEP drawings.
• Clear written and spoken English for daily communication with US clients and teams.
• Willingness to work scheduled hours with partial overlap with US Eastern time.

Required skills

• Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and report‑writing skills.
• Familiarity with Matterport, NavVis, iGuide or other 360°/virtual tour platforms (nice to have).
• Experience with Autodesk ReCap or other point‑cloud viewers and measurement tools (nice to have).
