Junior QC Specialist - Pharmaceutical Analysis

About the role

Julphar is hiring a Junior QC Specialist in Ras Al Khaimah to carry out chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, semi-finished products and stability samples according to approved specifications, SOPs, GMP and GLP. The role covers accurate analytical testing, laboratory documentation and data integrity, operation of QC equipment and support of quality management system activities.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse raw materials, semi-finished products and stability samples using approved methods and specifications.
• Operate instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers and dissolution apparatus.
• Maintain accurate records and enter results into SAP, following GDP and ALCOA+ data integrity principles.
• Support method validation, method transfer and assay analysis, and QMS activities (CAPA, AMS, change controls via AmpleLogic).
• Take part in internal and external audits and help close audit observations.
• Follow SOPs, laboratory safety and EHS standards, use PPE and keep the lab clean and safe.
• Work with QA, Production and R&D, support QC supervisors and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or a related science.
• 3-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical Quality Control.
• Knowledge of GMP, GLP, USP, EP and BP, and of CAPA, AMS and change controls.
• Good communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
