Junior Quality Control Specialist

About the role

The Junior Quality Control Specialist will perform chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, semi‑finished products and stability samples in a pharmaceutical environment, ensuring compliance with GMP, GLP and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct analytical testing using HPLC, GC, UV‑Vis spectrophotometers, dissolution apparatus and other validated methods.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, enter results into SAP and ensure data integrity according to ALCOA+ principles.
• Support method validation, method transfer and assay activities.
• Participate in QMS activities such as CAPA, AMS, change controls and audit follow‑up.
• Ensure laboratory safety, environmental compliance and proper use of PPE.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or a related science.
• 3–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, SOPs and pharmacopeial standards (USP, EP, BP).
• Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with HPLC, GC and UV‑Vis spectrophotometry.
• Proficiency in dissolution testing equipment.
• Working knowledge of SAP and AmpleLogic systems.
• Experience in analytical method validation and data integrity compliance.
