Key Account Manager – UAE & Kuwait (Healthcare Diagnostics)

About the role

Abbott is seeking a senior Key Account Manager to lead strategic healthcare accounts across the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market penetration for Abbott Rapid Diagnostics’ infectious disease portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Own full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution, ensuring revenue targets are met.
• Develop and nurture long‑term partnerships with hospitals, laboratories, government procurement units and healthcare networks.
• Collaborate with clinicians, laboratory leaders, emergency departments and infection‑control teams to optimise diagnostic workflows.
• Leverage business intelligence and sales analytics to identify growth opportunities and improve account performance.
• Design customer‑centric solutions, including integrated workflow offerings and value‑based diagnostic proposals.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of diagnostic or pharmaceutical sales experience in the UAE (Kuwait experience is a plus).
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue quotas.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems, patient pathways, reimbursement models and tender processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and consultative selling abilities.
