L2 Collaboration Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced L2 Collaboration Engineer to join our client’s team in Dubai. The role focuses on the design, implementation and support of Cisco Meeting Server (CMS) and Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) environments, with an emphasis on automation and DevOps practices. The position is onsite at the client office for a one‑year contract, extendable based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, manage and troubleshoot Cisco Meeting Server, including call bridge clustering, web bridge setup, database replication and recorder/streamer services.
• Perform CMS upgrades, health checks, backup validation and routine maintenance.
• Handle CMS APIs for bulk provisioning and advanced configurations.
• Administer CUCM systems, configure SIP trunks, device pools, regions, CSS, partitions, media resources and LDAP synchronization.
• Support IP phones, SIP endpoints and collaboration applications such as Jabber and Webex.
• Execute CUCM upgrades, patches and cluster maintenance.
• Develop Python scripts for health monitoring, log analysis and task automation.
• Utilize Git, Ansible and version‑control tools to implement DevOps workflows and streamline infrastructure updates.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco Meeting Server and Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
• Proficiency in Python scripting and use of APIs for automation.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git and Ansible.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work onsite in Dubai and meet tight project timelines.
• Arab nationality preferred.
