Landscape Engineer

About the role

Mirage is looking for a site‑based Landscape Engineer to supervise and manage high‑end landscape works on luxury leisure and development projects in Ras Al Khaimah. The role requires strong technical knowledge, hands‑on supervision, and the ability to deliver landscape works in line with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities for softscape, hardscape, irrigation, and site furnishings.
• Ensure execution strictly follows approved drawings, specifications, and Mirage standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project management teams to maintain smooth progress.
• Monitor site productivity, quality of workmanship, and overall progress.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and method statements before execution.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with design intent and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on site in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee proper implementation of planting, paving, irrigation systems, and landscape detailing.
• Maintain site records, progress reports, inspections, and as‑built documentation.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental regulations are followed at all times.
• Support snagging, handover, and close‑out activities for high‑quality project delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Horticulture, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in landscape site supervision or engineering, preferably on luxury hospitality, leisure, or large‑scale development projects.
• Strong understanding of softscape and hardscape construction methods and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Experience working full‑time on‑site in a fast‑paced construction environment, preferably in the Middle East.
