Last Mile Team Leader

About the role

The Last Mile Team Leader will oversee the final‑stage delivery operations for Majid Al Futtaim’s online retail channels in the UAE. The role ensures on‑time, quality deliveries while managing costs, safety, and hygiene standards to provide a seamless customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily performance reports for internal and external customers and manage full order lifecycle.
• Coordinate with the IT team to resolve system issues affecting delivery operations.
• Enroll drivers into the transport system, cancel orders, track pending orders, and ensure vehicle availability.
• Allocate and re‑allocate last‑mile resources based on demand and upcoming events.
• Validate that logistics service providers upload accurate data and documents into the Transport Delivery System.
• Oversee cash handling procedures in accordance with company guidelines.
• Mentor team members to build a continuous talent pipeline for key logistics roles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in E‑Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or last‑mile delivery management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with a results‑driven mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience using SAP.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.
• Advanced Excel skills.
