Laundry Attendant

About the role

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is looking for a Laundry Attendant to support the Housekeeping Department. You will make sure that hotel linen, uniforms and guest laundry are cleaned, processed and presented to NH Collection standards.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, press, fold and prepare hotel linen, uniforms and guest laundry.
• Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and according to established procedures.
• Inspect items for stains, damage or special cleaning requirements.
• Ensure guest laundry is processed accurately and returned within the required timeframe.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area and equipment.
• Handle detergents and chemicals safely, following health and safety procedures.
• Care for hotel linen and uniforms to minimise damage and wastage.
• Report equipment faults, damaged linen or other concerns to the Laundry Supervisor.
• Follow hotel hygiene, safety, environmental and brand standards.
• Support the Housekeeping team as required for efficient daily operations.

Required profile

• Previous laundry experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment, fabrics, detergents and stain removal.
• Basic English communication skills.
