Laundry Attendant – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Laundry Attendant ensures efficient, high‑quality processing of all hotel linen, uniforms, guest laundry and other fabrics at a 5‑star luxury resort. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, maintaining the standards expected by discerning guests.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort, count and classify linen, uniforms and guest laundry according to procedures.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, ironing machines, presses and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect items for stains, damage and quality before and after washing.
• Apply appropriate washing, stain‑removal, drying, pressing and finishing techniques.
• Fold, press, package and distribute clean items to the relevant departments.
• Maintain separation of clean and soiled linen to ensure hygiene.
• Report damaged, stained or missing items to the Laundry Supervisor.
• Keep the laundry area, equipment and storage organized and clean.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in hotel or commercial laundry, preferably 4‑ or 5‑star.
• Good physical fitness, able to stand long periods and lift laundry bags.
• Basic English communication skills; additional languages a plus.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of laundry operations, fabric care and stain removal.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
