Lead Architect

About the role

Imperium Group is looking for a Lead Architect to steer the design and delivery of high‑quality projects across the UAE. The role combines hands‑on design expertise with project coordination and client‑facing responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design from concept through detailed design and construction documentation.
• Develop and review design proposals, layouts, and technical documentation to meet project requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including structural, MEP, interior, and landscape consultants.
• Review drawings, details, specifications and ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international standards.
• Manage authority submission processes and support approvals with UAE authorities.
• Provide technical guidance throughout design and construction phases, resolve RFIs and coordination challenges.
• Participate in client meetings, design presentations and technical discussions.
• Mentor junior architects and promote high‑quality documentation standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 13+ years of professional architectural experience, preferably in senior or lead roles.
• Proven experience on projects in Dubai, Abu Dhabi or other UAE locations.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building regulations, authority requirements and design standards.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams.
