Lead BI Analyst – iGaming, Dubai

About the role

A large iGaming platform in MENA is expanding its data function in Dubai and is hiring a Lead BI Analyst to drive product performance, experimentation and BI infrastructure across its gaming products. The role sits at the intersection of Product, Growth, Marketing and Data Engineering, with direct impact on conversion, retention and revenue, and reports to the Head of BI while leading and mentoring a team of BI Analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Own product and business analytics across funnels, activation, retention, conversion and user behaviour.
• Lead and mentor BI Analysts, ensuring high-quality analytical outputs, technical standards and delivery.
• Build and maintain data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, dashboards and reporting infrastructure using SQL, dbt and modern BI tools.
• Partner with Product, Growth and Data Engineering teams to influence roadmap and optimisation decisions.
• Design, run and evaluate A/B tests and experimentation frameworks.
• Leverage AI/ML to improve analytics, automate workflows and generate business insights.
• Drive consistency in KPI frameworks, metric definitions, data quality and analytical methodology across the BI team.

Required profile

• 7+ years of BI/analytics experience.
• 2+ years of technical leadership, including leading or managing analysts.
• Proven background in product analytics (funnel, cohort, retention, conversion, A/B testing).
• Hands-on AI/ML experience, including LLMs, GenAI, AI agents, predictive modelling or machine learning (mandatory).
• Must be hands-on technically, not just focused on people management.
• iGaming or FinTech experience strongly preferred.
• Relocation to Dubai is required; remote work is not possible.
• Notice period of 1 month maximum.

Required skills

• Expert-level SQL and hands-on BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI or similar)
• Cloud data warehouses, data modelling, ETL/ELT pipelines and dbt (familiarity with dbt is sufficient)

What we offer

• Salary of 42,000 to 47,000 AED per month (tax free) plus a 10-20% performance-related bonus.
