Lead MAC Digitalization Engineer

About the role

KBR is seeking a Lead MAC Digitalization Engineer for the ADNOC PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role leads the digitalization strategy, integrating IIoT, automation, AI and OT/IT systems across all project phases to improve efficiency, safety and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve digitalization strategies, architectures and implementation plans from contractors.
• Monitor contractor performance against digital deliverables, milestones and KPIs.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, operations, IT, OT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Facilitate integration of project digital systems with corporate platforms for data consistency.
• Identify and drive digital transformation opportunities to enhance safety, operational efficiency and asset performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline with at least 18 years of oil & gas or petrochemical experience.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar senior digitalization role on international projects, preferably in the GCC.
• Experience managing a team of specialists, senior engineers and engineers.
• Proven experience working with main automation contractors and resolving multi‑contractor interface issues.
