Lead, Procurement Planning & Analytics

About the role

The Lead, Procurement Planning & Analytics is responsible for designing and executing procurement strategies that support the organisation's business objectives while driving continuous improvement, cost efficiency and resilience across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive procurement plans aligned with operational goals and business strategy.
• Monitor procurement performance against KPIs such as cost savings, delivery times and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with supply chain, logistics and operations teams to ensure procurement planning matches inventory levels and production schedules.
• Identify risks in procurement and supply‑chain processes and create contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
• Drive initiatives to improve supplier performance, ensuring quality, cost and delivery expectations are met.
• Implement cost‑saving measures and efficiency improvements across procurement activities.
• Utilise data analytics to track performance and provide real‑time, actionable insights to senior management.
• Work with the procurement excellence team to optimise sourcing, procurement cycles and contract management.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting procurement needs to secure adequate resources.
• Prepare and deliver periodic management and progress reports for senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with group delegation of authority policy, organisational procedures and relevant legislation.
• Adhere to HSE, security and risk‑management rules and procedures.
