Lead Software Engineer – Finacle Test Automation

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join Virtusa’s Banking Technology team in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on Finacle test automation, delivering high‑quality, end‑to‑end functional coverage for core banking modules. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with developers and business analysts to ensure robust testing of CRM, Core Banking and Payments solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute test cases for Finacle 11X across CRM, Core Banking and Payments modules.
• Validate end‑to‑end functional flows for Assets and Liabilities tracks.
• Build and maintain automated test suites using Selenium with Java or Playwright with Node.js.
• Perform in‑sprint automation testing aligned with Agile delivery cycles.
• Validate SOAP and REST Finacle APIs as part of test automation.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Finacle testing, preferably Finacle 11X.
• Hands‑on exposure to CRM, Core and Payments modules.
• Solid understanding of Assets and Liabilities banking domain.
• Ability to work in an Agile, sprint‑based environment.
