Lead Software Engineer (Full Stack)

About the role

IGT Solutions, a tech services and customer experience company founded in 1998, is looking for a skilled Full Stack Lead to join its team. The lead designs, develops and maintains high-performance applications and works closely with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, implement solutions and deliver robust, scalable software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code and maintain medium to large product features or modules as part of an agile feature team
• Contribute to user stories during refinement with product owners and product managers
• Work with architects and senior engineers on technical design and turn technical solutions into low-level design and working code
• Write secure, optimised code following client-approved standards and NFRs, and help build coding standards and playbooks
• Work with testers and product owners to get stories accepted before sprint closure, then demo them to business and IT stakeholders
• Act on feedback from retrospectives and keep up to date with relevant technologies
• Senior candidates should be able to mentor, guide and manage other engineering team members

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
• 9+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in agile ways of working
• Practical agile experience and use of collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro and Mural
• Experience in enterprise or start-up environments; good communication and collaboration skills
• Beneficial: scaled agile experience, SAFe certification, aviation-related project experience, familiarity with AI coding assistants
