Learning & Development Specialist

About the role

Sacoor Brothers, an international lifestyle brand with men's, women's and children's clothing, footwear and accessories, is hiring a Learning & Development Specialist. The role is based in the stores, working with teams to turn training into memorable moments that improve service and sales. It reports to the HR Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Work in stores with managers and teams to understand their needs and use performance data to prioritise training
• Design and deliver the annual training plan, keeping it practical and relevant to the shop floor
• Run induction training so new joiners feel welcome and ready from day one
• Deliver service, product, selling and grooming training through role-plays, games, videos and hands-on activities
• Build and run development programmes preparing future Store Managers
• Create training materials, guides and e-learning, using AI tools to work faster
• Research new ideas and best practice, and test new ways of learning
• Work with external trainers and suppliers when specialist expertise is needed
• Follow up in stores to check training is used, coach teams where it isn't, and track attendance and results

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Training, Coaching or Learning & Development, ideally in retail, hospitality or customer service
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business or a related field preferred
• Active, energetic and approachable, happiest on the shop floor with the teams
• Self-starter who does their own research and turns ideas into action
• Organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Portuguese and/or Arabic is a strong advantage

Required skills

• Confident everyday use of AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot for research, content creation and new training ideas
• Creative approach to learning, using role-plays, games, videos and hands-on activities
