Legal Advisor – Staffing & Recruitment

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Advisor to lead all legal matters within our manpower solutions firm. You will ensure compliance with labor laws, draft and review commercial and employment contracts, and mitigate legal risks across staffing, placement, and global mobility services.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage MSAs, SLAs, client‑vendor agreements and candidate employment contracts.
• Monitor and interpret labor, immigration and employment regulations across all operating regions.
• Review and approve credit terms for new clients, ensuring robust payment clauses.
• Oversee legal strategy for accounts receivable, issuing demand letters and statutory notices.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks in business operations, client partnerships and recruitment processes.
• Manage employee grievances, labor disputes, contract breaches and coordinate external counsel when litigation is required.
• Analyze disputed invoices and assess recovery versus litigation costs.
• Maintain recruitment licences, corporate registrations and statutory compliance certificates.
• Lead settlement negotiations with delinquent clients to protect revenue.
• Provide business‑oriented legal advice to leadership, HR and sales on recruitment scenarios, data privacy and worker classification.
• Develop and update internal policies, codes of conduct and compliance frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Master of Laws (LLM) from a recognized university.
• 5‑8 years of corporate legal experience, including at least 2‑3 years in labor/employment law or staffing/recruitment.
• Proven ability to draft complex contracts and advise senior management.
