Litigation Lawyer – Labor & Cheque Bounce

About the role

Albatha Group is seeking an experienced litigation lawyer to handle labor disputes and cheque bounce cases, as well as other small to medium claims. The role involves managing the full litigation lifecycle from pre‑litigation notices to court appearances and enforcement of judgments.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the organization before labor courts, tribunals, and authorities in employment disputes, handling wrongful termination, unpaid wages, and contract issues.
• Manage end‑to‑end dishonoured cheque cases, including legal notices, criminal and civil complaints, and recovery proceedings.
• Draft pleadings, statements, affidavits, applications and appeals; appear before courts and tribunals.
• Maintain accurate case files, status reports and conduct legal research to stay current with legislation and case law.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B. or equivalent); Master’s degree is an advantage.
• Valid UAE license to practice before relevant courts.
• 3‑5 years of litigation experience, especially in labor law and cheque bounce matters.
• Experience handling high volumes of cases and meeting multiple deadlines.
