Legal Director – Luxury Hotel Operator (EMEA)

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Director to join a leading luxury hotel operator in Dubai. Reporting to an overseas SVP, you will oversee legal operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, providing strategic counsel to a fast‑growing hospitality brand.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate crisis management and response for the hotel portfolio.
• Develop and implement global regulatory policies and compliance frameworks.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice to business units at all levels.
• Lead divisional legal activities across EMEA and support additional jurisdictions as needed.
• Manage relationships with external counsel and advisors.

Required profile

• Common‑law qualified lawyer with at least 8 years of experience.
• Strong background in regulatory, sanctions, investigations, and compliance matters.
• Experience gained at a recognised international law firm or a leading multinational corporation.
• Ability to work autonomously in a high‑growth, multinational environment.
