About the role
The Lifeguard ensures the safety of guests at the pool area of Ajman Saray, a Luxury Collection Resort. You will monitor swimmers, respond to emergencies, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Observe the swimming area for dangerous conditions, unsafe activities, and guests in distress, and intervene using appropriate rescue techniques.
- Provide first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive and report incidents to management.
- Promote pool rules, maintain cleanliness by folding towels, washing and mopping the deck, and ensure equipment is in good condition.
- Inspect tools and equipment for defects, and perform routine safety checks.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR certification and First Aid certification.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.
- Willingness to work outdoors, stand for extended periods, and navigate slippery surfaces.
