Lobby Lounge Hostess

About the role

The Mandarin Oriental Downtown in Dubai is seeking a Hostess for its Lobby Lounge. You will manage reservations, welcome guests, and ensure a seamless, memorable experience in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Take and confirm reservations via phone, email, online platforms, and in person, updating the reservation system accurately.
• Maintain the reservation database, including guest preferences and table counts, and coordinate seating arrangements with management.
• Welcome and escort patrons, providing personalized service and directing them to other hotel venues as needed.
• Assist with operational tasks in the outlet under the guidance of managers.

Required profile

• Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel, or Business Management (preferred).
• Minimum two years’ experience as a host in a high‑volume, luxury hotel or restaurant.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work long hours with operational excellence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Table Management System procedures.
• Experience using reservation software and maintaining guest databases.
