Logistics Assistant

About the role

A full-time, permanent Logistics Assistant is needed in Dubai to support shipment coordination, transportation planning, warehouse activities, delivery operations and communication with drivers, suppliers and customers. The role suits candidates with less than 1 year of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily logistics and transportation activities and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Prepare and verify delivery notes, invoices and shipping documents.
• Track shipments and update delivery status, and prepare daily or weekly logistics reports.
• Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, suppliers and customers, and help plan delivery schedules and routes.
• Monitor loading and unloading of goods and check goods and documents for accuracy before dispatch.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipment movements, and update logistics information in company systems or spreadsheets.
• Report delays, damages, shortages or delivery issues to the supervisor.
• Support the Logistics Supervisor with administrative and operational tasks and follow company logistics procedures and health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Less than 1 year of experience.
• Certification.
• Ability to handle goods safely and ensure they are stored and transported properly.
