About the role
The SCM Executive (Junior) supports daily supply chain operations in the automotive OEM division, including procurement coordination, material planning, inventory control, logistics follow-ups and ERP documentation. The role ensures timely material availability, accurate records and smooth coordination with suppliers and internal teams to avoid production disruptions.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in raising purchase requisitions and purchase orders and support RFQs
- Follow up with suppliers on order confirmations and deliveries
- Support material planning and track daily shortages
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock counts
- Coordinate inbound logistics and shipment tracking (ASN)
- Update ERP and Excel trackers and maintain SCM reports
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Finance and Engineering teams
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in SCM, logistics or procurement
- Strong communication, coordination and attention to detail
- Automotive or manufacturing exposure is an advantage
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of ERP, MRP, inventory and logistics processes
- Use of Excel trackers
