Logistics Coordinator (Import & Export)

About the role

A proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator (Import / Export) is sought to manage import and export operations, coordinate international shipments and ensure smooth logistics movement across the UAE and GCC markets.

Key responsibilities

• Import operations: coordinate import bookings with suppliers, customers and freight forwarders; liaise with approved shipping agents and logistics partners; monitor shipment schedules, cargo status and shipping documentation; ensure timely customs clearance and delivery of incoming shipments.
• Export operations: manage export booking requests from the sales team; coordinate shipments from the UAE to GCC countries; ensure compliance with country-specific customs regulations, documentation and shipping requirements; track shipments and update relevant departments.
• Documentation and reporting: prepare, verify and maintain shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills, certificates of origin and customs documents; keep accurate shipment records and reports; prepare weekly and monthly shipment summaries for the team leader and management.

Required profile

• 2-4 years of experience in logistics, shipping, import/export or supply chain operations.
• Good understanding of UAE and GCC import/export procedures and customs regulations.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation and customs clearance processes.
• Strong communication, coordination and follow-up skills, and ability to handle multiple shipments, priorities and deadlines at once.
• Retail, fashion or trading industry experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, especially data consolidation, cross-referencing and reporting.
