Logistics Coordinator – Interior Fit-Out Projects

About the role

A client of Agile Consultants is looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator in Dubai to handle shipping documentation, customs clearance, transportation arrangements and material deliveries for interior fit-out and construction projects. The role covers coordinating shipments, working with clearing agents and transport providers, keeping accurate logistics records and making sure materials arrive on time at warehouses and project sites.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading, shipping manifests, storage plans and inventory arrival records.
• Coordinate with transportation providers and communicate shipment details, estimated arrival times and delivery schedules to warehouse supervisors, site project managers and others.
• Work with customs clearing agents to ensure timely clearance and delivery of materials.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and give regular updates to the Logistics and Warehouse Manager.
• Arrange special shipping and transportation solutions according to project needs.
• Prepare final disbursement account documents, expense summaries and shipping cost estimates for the Accounts Department.
• Use UAE government portals to process shipping clearance and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist the Logistics Manager with logistics reports such as daily discharge summaries and respond to requests from vessel operators or owners.
• Handle company vehicle registration renewals and manage drivers' duty schedules and shifts.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous logistics and shipping experience in the interior fit-out or construction industry is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of UAE import/export regulations, customs clearance procedures and shipping documentation.
• Hands-on experience using government portals for shipping clearance and coordination of shipments, transport providers and clearing agents.
• Familiarity with Bills of Lading, shipping manifests and other logistics documents.
• Ability to work with warehouses, project teams, subcontractors and external logistics providers.
