Logistics Operative – Aviation Support

About the role

STS Aviation Services is seeking a Logistics Operative to join its fast‑moving maintenance environment in Dubai. The role focuses on the efficient handling, storage, tracking, and control of tools, materials, and equipment to support day‑to‑day aviation operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify all materials and equipment according to company procedures.
• Store, tag, and calibrate tooling and equipment correctly.
• Control issuing and storage of tools, including airside equipment.
• Maintain minimum stock levels in tool and material stores, aligned with supplier delivery times.
• Support urgent and high‑priority logistics requirements.
• Maintain the inventory database and assist the Logistics Lead as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and safe working practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a logistics environment, preferably aviation logistics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexible, enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard logistics software.
• Experience with Ultramain (advantageous).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.
