Logistics Supervisor – Transportation Network

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Supervisor to support daily operations within our busy transportation network. You will act as the deputy for the Operations Manager and ensure safety, efficiency, and high‑quality service at the delivery station.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operational duties and step in for the Operations Manager as needed.
• Prioritize and continuously improve safety standards at the station.
• Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators and delivery associates, monitoring performance and coaching staff.
• Collaborate with supporting departments to enhance logistics processes and communicate expectations to delivery service providers.
• Interview and onboard new associate candidates.
• Brief and monitor driver and associate workloads, ensuring accurate completion of administrative tasks.
• Measure, track and report daily metrics, assisting the Operations Manager with performance analysis.
• Train, mentor and resolve process‑related issues for new and existing associates.
• Provide flexible shift coverage and overtime support as required.
• Manage resourcing, including training needs, absence handling, performance management and productivity monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing teams.
• Experience with planning, performance metrics and process improvement.
• Preferred background in logistics and data analysis.
