Supervisor, Road Operations

About the role

The Supervisor, Road Operations will oversee daily fleet, transport and administrative activities within DSV's Dubai operation. This role ensures smooth cross‑border and domestic deliveries, maintains accurate asset records, and supports cost‑effective vendor management.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day fleet, transport and operational administrative tasks.
• Coordinate cross‑border and domestic transport operations to guarantee timely deliveries.
• Maintain and update the department asset register for office equipment.
• Manage vendor RFQ processes, ensuring contractual obligations are documented and cost efficiencies are achieved.
• Prepare and coordinate Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) in line with company budgeting guidelines.
• Maintain operating systems (JOBS/Micro Transport) with accurate, timely data.
• Oversee monthly internal asset billing with internal departments.
• Ensure accurate data entry, generate concise reports, and keep system files up‑to‑date.
• Administer HR processes related to absenteeism and overtime.
• Monitor QA/QC of SLA/SOP compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Foster teamwork, motivation and staff development across the Dubai operation.
• Maintain professional relationships with internal teams and industry affiliates.
• Perform additional duties or projects assigned by the General Manager – Transport.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the logistics and transportation industry.
• Strong communication, analytical, planning and time‑management abilities.
