About the role
The Loss Prevention Shift Leader is responsible for safeguarding assets, ensuring guest safety, and maintaining security protocols across the property. This role involves key control, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to emergencies.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct key control audits, manage electronic key boxes and issue/receive master keys, radios, and beepers.
- Patrol all areas, assist guests with room access, and monitor CCTV and alarm systems.
- Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS when needed.
- Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and complete incident and shift reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of reports and support training and motivation of team members.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work or supervisory experience required.
Required skills
- Key control audit and management.
- CCTV and alarm system monitoring.
- First aid/CPR certification and emergency response.
