Maintenance Planner - DWC

About the role

dnata, a global air services provider offering ground handling, cargo, travel and flight catering services, is hiring a Maintenance Planner in Dubai (DWC). You will plan, schedule and coordinate all plannable maintenance work carried out by the maintenance team, ensuring optimal use of manpower, materials, tools and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, allocate and coordinate maintenance activities
• Develop annual and monthly preventive maintenance schedules in line with approved frequencies and quality standards
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for timely execution of maintenance
• Review and update weekly maintenance plans, including preventive, corrective, modification and emergency repairs
• Maintain asset records, maintenance history, operating status and cost data in the maintenance management system
• Prepare and update job plans according to manufacturer recommendations, safety requirements and regulations
• Monitor work orders for timely completion, accurate cost booking and revenue recognition
• Raise material and purchase requisitions and ensure timely availability of materials and spare parts
• Generate maintenance, asset reliability, downtime and resource utilisation reports
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental policies, maintain technical documentation and support special projects

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Automotive, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Hydraulics or Diesel Engine Engineering
• 4-6 years for degree holders or 6-8 years for diploma holders
• Hands-on experience in GSE, cargo, airport baggage handling, automotive, heavy equipment, manufacturing or transportation
• Training in maintenance planning and scheduling from a recognised provider
• English proficiency at Level 4; UAE driving licence preferred to obtain ADP
