Manager, Business Finance - WBG (Emiratized)

About the role

First Abu Dhabi Bank is hiring an Emiratized Manager, Business Finance for its WBG (Wealth Business Group) in Abu Dhabi. The role supports the cost management of enablement functions and business units, provides monthly financial reports with detailed variance analysis, and owns the end-to-end Cost Allocation process for the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the month-end cost allocation process for the FAB UAE enablement functions and prepare monthly management information reports on their cost allocations.
• Analyse actual cost allocations and other costs, identify corrective actions, and make adjustments where necessary.
• Assist in the budget process for enablement functions cost allocations and help set up budget templates.
• Monitor cost allocation performance against budget, report variances to management and advise on risks and opportunities.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to junior colleagues and promote the bank's core values and ethics.
• Implement policies, systems and procedures for the assigned team and take part in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare sectional statements and reports on time and accurately, and implement stakeholder requests for additional reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; a professional qualification such as CA or ACCA or a master's level qualification is required.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the banking sector, with at least 10 years in similar finance positions with progressively greater managerial responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team of finance professionals and to work with senior management stakeholders daily.
• Detail-oriented, able to multi-task under pressure and deliver high-quality results.
