Manager Business Finance - WBG (Emiratized)

About the role

First Abu Dhabi Bank is hiring an Emiratized Manager for Business Finance, based in Abu Dhabi. The role supports the cost management of enablement functions and business units, owns the end-to-end cost allocation process for the group, and produces monthly financial reports with detailed variance analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the month-end cost allocation process for the bank's enablement functions and prepare monthly management information reports, including analysis of actuals and corrective actions.
• Monitor cost allocation performance against budget, report variances to management and advise on risks and opportunities.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to junior colleagues and promote the bank's core values and ethics.
• Implement policies, systems and procedures for the assigned team and take part in continuous improvement of processes and practices.
• Prepare accurate sectional statements and reports, and help set up budget templates for enablement functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; a professional qualification such as CA or ACCA or a master's degree is required.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the banking sector, with at least 10 years in similar finance positions with progressively greater managerial responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of finance professionals and to work with senior management on a daily basis.
• Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work under pressure.
