Manager Operations Data and Analytics

About the role

The Manager Operations Data and Analytics leads the full suite of data and analytics products for the Airport Operations Control Centre (AOCC) and Operations Planning at Abu Dhabi International Airport. The role ensures data quality, delivers actionable insights, and supports performance management across the airport network.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly aeronautical billing dataset process, ensuring accurate reconciliation, validation and audit trails across AODB, airline and ground handler sources.
• Produce executive‑ready reports on operational performance metrics such as OTP, stand utilisation, GPU/PCA connectivity, passenger processing and baggage handling, highlighting risks and trends.
• Identify and integrate new data sources, system interfaces and AI/automation opportunities to enhance reporting and decision‑support capabilities.
• Design and deliver data solutions, setting technical standards for Power BI development, SQL data modelling and Databricks pipeline architecture.
• Lead the operational performance management framework, defining KPI methodologies, measurement logic and reporting cadences in partnership with Operations Planning and AOCC.
• Apply structured problem‑solving to resolve complex data and analytical challenges, documenting decisions and rationale.
• Manage and develop a team of analysts, setting objectives, providing coaching and conducting performance reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data and analytics initiatives in a complex operational environment.
• Strong governance and data‑quality management skills.
• Ability to communicate insights to senior leadership and produce executive‑level reports.
• Experience collaborating with operations, planning and control centre functions.
