Manager Special Projects & Performance - MENA

About the role

The Manager Special Projects & Performance role sits within the regional Chief Operating Office structure and drives strategic initiatives, business performance management and cross-functional execution. It combines strategy, analytics, project management and operational execution so that priorities turn into results and organizational performance improves.

Key responsibilities

• Report on business performance: own full visibility of COO functional KPIs across functions and markets, surface risks early, drive turnarounds when metrics deviate, build insight-driven reporting frameworks and present findings to senior leadership
• Lead OKR and budgeting cycles, track performance and variances, flag risks early, and improve governance, planning timelines and financial planning processes
• Develop strategy: translate vision into executable plans, lead annual and multi-year strategic planning and competitive analysis
• Own integrated business planning (strategy, budget, OKRs, P&T roadmaps) and the operating cadence, including offsites and reviews
• Define company KPIs, monitor strategic initiatives, align business units and support the COO with board and executive reporting
• Lead cross-functional special projects requiring heavy coordination across Regional, Local and P&T, managing stakeholder complexity across markets
• Lead AI adoption in functional performance teams, identifying tools that replace manual reporting and speed up analysis

Required profile

• 3+ years in strategy, consulting, operations or performance management, ideally in tech or a fast-paced consumer business
• Ability to drive innovation and thought leadership
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decisions
• Stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration and structured communication

Required skills

• Financial modelling and PnL analysis strongly preferred
• SQL, BigQuery, Looker and Tableau strongly preferred
