Managing Director – Global Operations (Luxury Hospitality)

About the role

The Managing Director – Global Operations is responsible for the end‑to‑end performance of Chedi Hospitality’s four operating divisions, ensuring consistent guest and owner experiences, service delivery, and profitability across all properties and upcoming developments.

Key responsibilities

• Set and lead the group operational strategy across Chedi Hotels, Branded Residences, Chedi Origins, and Serai in alignment with corporate objectives.
• Provide unified leadership to General Managers and Residence Operations Managers, embedding coherent operating models, service standards, and procedures.
• Define portfolio‑wide performance benchmarks and oversee their delivery across all properties and residences.
• Oversee hotel operations—including rooms, food & beverage, culinary, and spa & wellness—driving guest experience and reputation management.
• Guide residential service delivery, facilities management, and owner relations, safeguarding long‑term asset value.
• Lead Chedi Origins operations, ensuring authentic guest journeys and brand standards across the collection.
• Direct Serai operations, maintaining high‑quality guest experiences and operational excellence.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial, Development, and Asset Management teams to enhance service quality, owner value, and brand equity.

Required profile

• Extensive executive leadership experience within luxury hospitality or related sectors.
• Proven track record of driving operational profitability and service excellence across multiple business models.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable operational plans.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, working with owners, commercial partners, and development teams.
• Deep understanding of hospitality standards, guest experience design, and asset lifecycle management.
