Managing Director & Head of Client Management – Securities Services

About the role

First Abu Dhabi Bank is seeking a senior commercial leader to head the Client Management function for its Securities Services franchise across the GCC and Egypt, while supporting expansion into selected Asian markets. The role combines strategic client planning, P&L ownership and team leadership to drive revenue growth and deepen institutional relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Client Management organisation, including Service Directors, RFP and Transition teams.
• Own the P&L for existing Securities Services clients, ensuring revenue targets, wallet penetration and client retention.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans for institutional clients across Direct Custody, Global Custody, Fund Administration, Performance & Risk Measurement, Middle Office Outsourcing and Securities Finance.
• Manage RFP processes, client transitions and integrated product support.
• Set operating rhythms, performance standards and engagement disciplines for the Service Director team.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales and Operations to deliver high‑quality, cross‑functional service.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in securities services or related banking domains.
• Proven track record of P&L management and revenue growth in institutional markets.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with strategic institutional clients.
• Leadership experience managing high‑performing client‑facing teams.
• Ability to translate business strategy into actionable execution plans.
