Managing Director – Healthcare Catering & Facilities Management

About the role

This senior leadership position is responsible for full ownership of the business’s P&L, profitability, working capital, commercial performance, operations and organisational transformation within the healthcare catering and integrated facilities management sector in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute business strategy, overseeing EBITDA, cash flow, working capital and overall profitability.
• Lead enterprise‑wide transformation across Operations, Finance, Commercial, HR, Procurement and Support Functions.
• Review, restructure, renegotiate or exit under‑performing contracts to improve margin.
• Enhance cost efficiency, manpower productivity, procurement and supply‑chain processes.
• Strengthen receivables, DSO, supplier management and working‑capital discipline.
• Drive new business acquisition, tendering and commercial negotiations to generate replacement revenue.
• Oversee large‑scale healthcare and institutional catering, FM and integrated support‑service operations.
• Build and lead a high‑performing senior management team and ensure robust governance and compliance.

Required profile

• Significant experience as Managing Director, CEO, COO, Country General Manager or Business Head.
• Direct healthcare/hospital catering experience, preferably with patient feeding or large healthcare contracts.
• Proven track record of turning around under‑performing businesses and restoring profitability.
• Experience managing large, complex P&L (AED 150M+), cash‑flow, working capital and supplier relationships.
• Strong business‑development, tendering, pricing and contract‑negotiation capabilities.
• UAE/GCC market experience strongly preferred.
