Manufacturing Engineering Specialist – Switchgear Panels

About the role

Vertiv is looking for a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to lead the production of Switchgear (SWGR) panels. You will optimize processes, ensure product quality, and drive operational efficiency across the SWGR production line.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare production documentation for new projects, prototypes, and assembly.
• Improve existing operations by introducing new methods and procedures.
• Identify cost‑reduction opportunities and resolve technical manufacturing issues.
• Collaborate with technical and other departments to prepare cost estimates for new projects.
• Participate in procurement and design of handling and manufacturing equipment.
• Work with the Lean Supervisor on lean projects aimed at waste elimination.
• Follow integrated management system procedures, lean manufacturing, 5S, and international trade rules.
• Submit continuous‑improvement proposals aligned with company goals.

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical engineering or manufacturing.
• Fluent English communication, both spoken and written.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship).
