Market Intelligence Analyst – Strategic Insights

About the role

The Market Intelligence Analyst will support ADNOC Distribution by gathering, analysing and interpreting data from internal and external sources. The role provides macro‑ and micro‑economic insights that drive strategic planning, business development and informed decision‑making across the oil and gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and maintain a comprehensive database of market, competitor and regulatory information.
• Produce regular industry, competitor and customer models, including market‑share analysis and growth forecasts.
• Conduct systematic analysis of economic trends, legal frameworks and competitive dynamics.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and reports for senior leadership and internal teams.
• Manage syndicated research data, perform statistical analysis and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Identify new data sources, implement collection methodologies and ensure data integrity.
• Respond to ad‑hoc information requests and communicate key insights to relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Business, Statistics or a related field.
• Proven experience in market research, competitive intelligence or business analytics, preferably within the energy sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize large data sets into clear insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to senior management.
