Marketing Associate

About the role

Steel Wood Industries FZCO, the first and only wood-panel production facility in the GCC, makes SDB (Steel Wood Density Board) from 100% recycled post-consumer wood, serving furniture, joinery, fit-out, construction and interior markets. It is looking for a creative, commercially minded Marketing Associate to strengthen its brand presence and support business growth across the UAE and GCC. The role combines digital marketing, content creation, social media, branding, events, market research and sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow the company's presence on LinkedIn, Instagram and other digital platforms
• Create content on products, projects, sustainability, recycling, manufacturing and company developments
• Develop marketing and sales materials such as brochures, presentations, catalogues, advertisements and digital content
• Support business development with campaigns, presentations, lead-generation activities and customer-facing materials
• Coordinate photography, videography, graphic design and website content
• Support SEO, email marketing, digital advertising and online campaigns
• Conduct competitor and market research across the UAE and GCC
• Support exhibitions, trade shows, customer events, product launches and PR activities
• Track marketing performance, engagement, campaigns and generated leads

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
• Experience in marketing, digital marketing, communications or brand management
• B2B, manufacturing, building materials, construction, furniture, interiors or sustainability experience is an advantage
• Fluent English is required; Arabic is an advantage
• Experience or market knowledge in Oman and/or Saudi Arabia is a plus

Required skills

• Strong understanding of social media, content creation and digital marketing
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools is an advantage
• Strong communication, writing, presentation and organisational skills
