Marketing Technology & Customer Analytics Faculty

About the role

Canadian University Dubai is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor to join the School of Management for the Spring Semester 2026–2027. The role involves teaching, research, curriculum development and academic service in marketing technology and customer analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in digital marketing, CRM, analytics and related areas, ensuring engaging delivery and up‑to‑date content.
• Supervise student projects, internships, graduation projects and postgraduate research appropriate to the academic rank.
• Contribute to curriculum design, evaluation and continuous improvement, aligning with industry needs and accreditation standards.
• Maintain an active research agenda, publish in reputable peer‑reviewed journals and engage with industry partners.
• Participate in academic governance, accreditation activities (e.g., AACSB) and community outreach.

Required profile

• PhD in Marketing or a closely related discipline from a QS Top‑500 university.
• Strong record of teaching effectiveness and research productivity, with publications in Scopus‑indexed journals.
• Relevant university‑level teaching experience and evidence of curriculum development and student supervision.
• For Associate Professor level, additional experience in graduate teaching and postgraduate supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis.
• Experience with data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of advanced analytical techniques: text mining, image analytics, topic modelling, clustering, social‑network analysis, machine learning.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and data‑visualisation platforms.
