About the role
The Aquila School is seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to deliver engaging, student‑centred lessons and contribute to our vision of ‘amazing learning’. The role involves safeguarding children, promoting a positive school ethos and collaborating with families and colleagues.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, interactive science lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Ensure the safety and well‑being of all students at all times.
- Lead CAS activities, participate in staff training and support school community initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of teaching, assess progress and help achieve the school’s attainment targets.
Required profile
- Proven teaching experience with a credible track record.
- Ability to develop positive relationships with students, staff and families.
- Initiative, flexibility, a proactive and positive attitude.
- Commitment to safeguarding, diversity, equity and inclusion principles.
