Marketplace Key Account Manager

About the role

Gloria Jeans is seeking a Marketplace Key Account Manager to launch and scale its presence on third‑party marketplace platforms across the GCC. The role owns the full commercial relationship with marketplace partners, from onboarding to day‑to‑day trading, assortment management and performance optimisation, working closely with E‑commerce, Merchandising, Marketing and Logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and onboard new marketplace partners (e.g., Noon, Amazon.ae, Namshi) across the GCC.
• Lead commercial negotiations covering commission structures, traffic placements, exclusivity windows, co‑marketing budgets and service‑level agreements.
• Define go‑to‑market strategy for each platform, including positioning, pricing logic and launch sequencing.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with marketplace category managers and business development leads.
• Curate product assortment per marketplace, aligning with overall merchandising and inventory strategy.
• Optimize product listings (titles, descriptions, images, sizing guides, attributes) and monitor sell‑through and stock performance.
• Coordinate stock allocation, replenishment and clearance priorities with internal merchandising teams.
• Own the promotional calendar for each partner, planning platform‑specific campaigns (seasonal events, mega‑sales, brand moments) and negotiating premium placements and editorial features.

Required profile

• Commercially driven professional with experience in marketplace partnership development.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to define commercial terms and promotional plans.
• Proven capability to work cross‑functionally with E‑commerce, Merchandising, Marketing and Logistics teams.
• Ability to analyse sell‑through data and translate insights into assortment and promotional decisions.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with external marketplace contacts.
