Mechanical Engineer – Data Centre Projects (Experienced, Immediate Joiner)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our data‑centre projects team immediately. You will be responsible for the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of critical mechanical systems that keep high‑availability facilities running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Support design review and validation of HVAC, chilled‑water and precision‑cooling solutions, ensuring compliance with Uptime/Tier standards.
• Oversee on‑site installation of chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps and ductwork, coordinating with MEP contractors and vendors.
• Lead testing and commissioning activities, including integrated systems testing, to verify performance under load.
• Apply redundancy concepts (N+1, 2N) to guarantee uptime and mitigate continuity risks.
• Collaborate with electrical, ELV and civil teams, prepare progress reports and as‑built documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4–8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering for data‑centres or mission‑critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled‑water and precision‑cooling technologies.
• Experience in MEP coordination and site execution.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and data‑centre Tier guidelines is a plus.
