Media Project Manager

About the role

The Media Project Manager leads end‑to‑end delivery of media projects across branding, PR, social media, events and communications, acting as the primary client contact and overseeing formal approval workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Translate complex client requirements into clear briefs for creative, PR, social, production and external delivery teams.
• Build and maintain the master project plan, covering timelines, milestones, dependencies and approval gates across all workstreams.
• Manage multiple external partners and vendors, including PR agencies, social creators, media vendors and production suppliers.
• Review deliverables before client submission, identifying gaps, inconsistencies and alignment issues.
• Handle day‑to‑day client communication, status reporting, approvals and change management.
• Identify, log and mitigate project risks, escalating critical issues to senior management and the client.
• Navigate government client protocols, formal sign‑off processes and compliance requirements.
• Maintain programme documentation such as RAID logs, scopes of work, cost trackers and post‑project reviews.
• Chair kick‑off meetings, weekly stand‑ups and formal review sessions with clients and internal teams.
• Track project scope, budgets, purchase orders, supplier costs, invoicing milestones and commercial dependencies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of project/programme management experience in marketing, communications, creative, digital, technology or consulting.
• Proven delivery of complex, multi‑partner media projects from brief to completion.
• Experience managing government or large institutional projects.
• Prior work experience in the UAE.
• Strong ability to quickly understand unfamiliar industries, technical subjects and complex client environments.
• Excellent judgment and problem‑solving capability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
